Nah, I’d either deconstruct the spin the nats were using to quell punchinthefacegate or deride the whole thing as a sideshow in a post about the government’s failure to effect a decent stimulus package and then wonder why all the comments were going to Zet’s post about Key as psychopath. Marty would graph historic acts of violence against children by politicians. Eddie would give a sober analysis of the way the media was handling the situation, sprout would attack Granny’s “nail in the PC coffin” editorial and maybe photoshop Key’s face onto a picture of hitler punching a kid. Rocky would use it as a stepping off point to talk about how badly animals were treated with less outrage. r0b would talk about how, contrary to Trotter’s claim, MJS never punched any kinds in the face and Lynn would write something with those demon smileys he like so much.
And on a further media note Audrey would be outraged in a social-conservative manner but pushed into a back page by the editor and Colin Espiner would just say the first thing that came into his head, make a halfhearted attempt to defend it in the comments section of his blog when it was pointed out that it was clearly logically flawed and then move onto something else as quickly as possible.
